Hardesty & Hanover, LLC in New York City is seeking a Senior Track Engineer to lead track design tasks, including plans, specifications, quantities and design calculations, and to provide technical guidance to the team. You will model horizontal and vertical geometry with OpenRail Designer, process survey data, and design special trackwork.

Six to 15 years of relevant experience, a BS in Civil Engineering, and a PE license are preferred.

• Experience with Special Trackwork Design.
• Fluency with OpenRail Designer.

• Lead the preparation of track design documents, including plans, specifications, quantities and design calculations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
• Lead delivery of track design tasks, including horizontal and vertical geometry and modeling using OpenRail Designer software.
• Lead the design of track horizontal and vertical alignments, including processing of survey data, regression analysis.
• Lead the design of special trackwork details for procurement and installation.
• Occasionally perform track inspection and field work as needed.
• Assist in adapting OpenRail Designer workspaces for client specific standards.

Salary range — $104,000-156,000 annually. Salary commensurate with level of experience.
