Job summary

H&H is seeking a Senior Track Engineer to join our Philadelphia office, driving track design for the Passenger Rail & Transit Group. You will lead design tasks, mentor staff, and ensure technical excellence across horizontal/vertical alignments and special trackwork.

Qualifications

• Six to 15 years of relevant experience.
• BS in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• PE license (preferred).
• Experience with Special Trackwork Design.
• Fluency with OpenRail Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of track design documents, including plans, specifications, quantities and design calculations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
• Lead delivery of track design tasks, including geometry and modeling using OpenRail Designer.
• Lead the design of track horizontal and vertical alignments, including processing of survey data and regression analysis.
• Lead the design of special trackwork details for procurement and installation.
• Occasionally perform track inspection and field work as needed.
