Job summary

H&H is seeking a Senior Track Engineer to join our Philadelphia office, driving track design for the Passenger Rail & Transit Group. You will lead design tasks, mentor staff, and ensure technical excellence across horizontal/vertical alignments and special trackwork.

Qualifications

Six to 15 years of relevant experience.
BS in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
PE license (preferred).
Experience with Special Trackwork Design.
Fluency with OpenRail Designer.

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of track design documents, including plans, specifications, quantities and design calculations.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
Lead delivery of track design tasks, including geometry and modeling using OpenRail Designer.
Lead the design of track horizontal and vertical alignments, including processing of survey data and regression analysis.
Lead the design of special trackwork details for procurement and installation.
Occasionally perform track inspection and field work as needed.
