Amazon in Redmond is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to drive programs across the VirtSat Leo platform, coordinating embedded software, cloud infrastructure, and hardware emulation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience defining and executing program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
• Experience with CI/CD systems, software deployment pipelines, or infrastructure operations.
• Experience with embedded systems, Linux platforms, or hardware virtualization/emulation.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, Step Functions, DynamoDB, CloudWatch) in an operational context.
• Experience driving platform availability or reliability improvements (SLA definition, failure analysis, root cause tracking).
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) or software-in-the-loop (SITL) testing environments.
• Experience defining KPIs/SLAs and reporting to senior leadership.
• Familiarity with satellite systems, flight software, or aerospace development environments.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of programs spanning embedded software, cloud infrastructure, hardware emulation, and test automation.
• Work across the full VirtSat stack—from hardware emulation to cloud provisioning workflows and API reliability.
• Define program strategy, drive platform availability improvements, and coordinate subsystem onboarding.
• Build operational mechanisms and ensure fidelity and reliability for satellite software teams.
