Job summary

Amazon Robotics in North Reading, MA is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to lead complex hardware and systems development programs across mechanical, electrical, and embedded domains.

You will partner with Deployment Engineering, Manufacturing, and Software teams to define goals and schedules for next-generation fulfillment and robotics systems. The role demands strong program management, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive risk mitigation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or a related field.
• 10+ years hardware engineering experience.
• 7+ years working directly with engineering teams.
• Experience delivering products in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined environment.
• Experience managing multiple projects in parallel through prioritization, planning, and task delegation.
• Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk management, and critical path management.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and cross-functional organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
• Ability to develop Gantt charts and identify project critical path.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware and system development programs with mechanical, electrical, and embedded teams.
• Partner with Deployment Engineering, Manufacturing, Global Support Services, and others to define goals.
• Collaborate across functions for hardware/software integration.
• Triage and address field requests for Hardware Engineering support.
• Drive consensus on technical decisions and allocate resources.
• Lead collaboration between Hardware Engineering, Product Management, and Systems Engineering.
• Identify and mitigate program-level risks and issues.
• Create, maintain, and share project information with stakeholders.
• Foster effective teamwork across groups with competing priorities.
• Develop and manage schedules across all HW disciplines.
