Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in the United States seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead hardware program delivery for the Sortation Vertical. You will own the full program lifecycle from concept through engineering validation, multi-site deployment, and sustaining field support.

You will drive schedule, risk, and technical decisions across teams, manage change control for hardware, and coordinate procurement with contract manufacturers and deployment partners to ensure on-time launches.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical program management experience.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and release schedules.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years working directly with hardware engineering teams.
• Experience taking electromechanical hardware from prototype to production and field deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of sortation hardware programs across all engineering disciplines, holding the schedule and the critical path across teams that do not report to you and driving technical decisions to closure on the record.
• Own the change-control cadence for the hardware portfolio, ensuring our contract manufacturers and deployment partners build to the released revision.
• Own the procurement path for program hardware, translating supplier lead times on long-lead components into schedule risk before they become launch impacts.
• Own launch readiness for site deployments through the go/no-go decision and the handover to site Reliability Maintenance Engineering and Operations, and you will sustain solutions already in the field.
