Job summary

Mistral AI is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead and scale human data annotation operations for our Code team. You will collaborate with researchers to define data strategies and accelerate research across research, product, engineering, and annotation teams.

You will drive end-to-end campaigns, manage quality assurance, and build strong relationships with contractors and vendors to ensure high-quality data delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience blending software engineering and technical program management.
• Strong technical foundation in Python.
• Excellent project management and multi-project coordination skills.
• Great communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Autonomous and proactive problem-solver with continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop data strategies with the code research team and translate needs into actionable annotation campaigns.
• Lead end-to-end human data annotation campaigns including scoping, delivery, and budgeting.
• Manage a data quality assurance team implementing scalable QC processes and insights.
• Build and maintain relationships with annotation teams (contractors, vendors) across sourcing, onboarding, training, and performance monitoring.
