Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. We are building ground systems supply chain capabilities to deliver reliable, scalable components globally.

The Sr Technical Program Manager will drive sourcing, onboarding of new systems, and cross-functional alignment with engineering, legal, and program management teams to optimize cost, lead time, quality, and delivery for RF/antenna hardware and software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• Experience developing and implementing KPI goals and strategies based on broader organization goals.
• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience.
• Experience in vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding of new systems for team including driving User Acceptance Testing and overall system integration for existing processes as Subject Matter Expert.
• Drive team-wide prioritization and risk mitigation mechanisms.
• Work with a range of stakeholders including business leaders, engineering leaders, legal, program management, technology teams and supply chain to negotiate a variety of agreements.
• Influence and develop operations processes, technology decisions, and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for both organizations.
• Prioritize projects and activities to deliver maximum cost reductions and reliable on-time delivery.
• Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals.
• Collaborate with ground systems engineers to gain an in-depth knowledge of RF electronics and antenna systems functionality.
• Manage end to end life cycle of supply chain operations for hardware and software pre-delivery through post-delivery.
