Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking experienced professionals to lead mechanical cooling programs for our data center infrastructure in the Austin area. You will manage cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and engineering disciplines to deliver scalable, production-ready systems.

The role emphasizes planning for global deployments, ensuring design and qualification requirements are met, and driving strategic programs to reduce cost and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
• Experience leading complex technical programs for Mechanical Cooling and/or Controls Systems.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or CS/IT-related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic plans for new Mechanical Solutions and global deployment maturity.
• Plan for global/regional nuances, test, validate, create deployment schedules, and production readiness actions.
• Lead development, deployment, and sustainment of Mechanical Systems for a new data center in a cross-functional environment.
• Provide program management leadership for new technologies or retrofit work enabling large-scale hardware deployments.
• Drive cross-functional teams to deliver complex programs with high impact.
