Job summary

Amazon Foundational Security Services seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead large, cross-organizational security programs end to end, improving cloud security and identity controls across AWS environments. You will define plans, own milestones, and drive multiple teams toward committed outcomes with limited guidance.

You'll coordinate with engineering teams and system owners, set ambitious yet attainable goals, and provide leadership updates with defensible progress.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• 3+ years of software development experience

Responsibilities

• Own cross-organizational security programs spanning identification, prioritization, and remediation of risks.
• Coordinate migrations onto standardized platforms and secure environments where migration is not feasible.
• Drive owners toward committed outcomes; escalate blockers with data-backed recommendations to leadership.
• Partner with other organizations on shared initiatives, aligning requirements and readiness.
• Produce clear program status updates and reflect changes with defensible reasons.
