Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager for AWS Secure Foundations within Proactive Security to own the program strategy for detection and prevention controls that safeguard AWS at scale.

You will lead cross-organizational programs end-to-end, partner with engineering, product, and security leaders, and drive prioritization to maximize risk reduction while maintaining builder velocity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Owns the program strategy for detection and prevention controls across AWS, delivering complex projects end-to-end.
• Lead cross-organizational programs across Director/VP organizations, aligning requirements and stakeholders.
• Establish mechanisms for tracking program health, adoption, and outcomes; use data to inform prioritization and leadership communication.
• Develop trusted partnerships with technical and non-technical teams across AWS businesses to reflect needs of diverse builders.
• Balance security rigor with builder velocity when evaluating complex requirements and risks.
