Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for the DESA Software Development Engineering team in Seattle. You will own planning, architecture, and delivery of cross-organizational software programs spanning Enterprise Technology and New Glenn, coordinating multiple software teams from design through production deployment.

You will decompose objectives into actionable workstreams, drive the annual planning cycle, and manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks.

Formación

• 8+ years in technical program management for software systems.
• Experience leading year-scale programs across multiple software orgs.
• Strong technical fluency to discuss architecture, APIs and design tradeoffs.
• Experience with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
• Definition and tracking of non-functional requirements and KPIs/SLAs.
• Proven ability to drive annual planning and roadmaps at director level or above.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to VP/L1 stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.

Responsabilidades

• Decompose business objectives into interconnected workstreams and program plans engineering teams can execute against.
• Own and drive the annual planning cycle and development roadmap for your program areas.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk across the full program lifecycle - from initiation through production deployment.
• Define and maintain program milestones, resource estimates, risks, and dependencies - including non-functional requirements.
• Own solution architecture and interface definitions in partnership with engineering leads; understand system workflows, APIs, design constraints, and operational gotchas.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, balance business needs against technical constraints, and provide escalation management across ET and New Glenn.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for technical escalations.
• Lead security reviews and QA coordination for programs in scope.
• Define and track KPIs and SLAs for programs in your portfolio.
• Communicate program status clearly to senior leadership (Director and L1).
• Mentor junior members across the team up to Level III.
