Job summary

Fresh Consulting in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager for Equipment Engineering to own end-to-end lifecycle of automated manufacturing tools. You will drive schedule, budget, and delivery milestones while coordinating with process, manufacturing, and equipment-design teams on complex scopes.

You will partner with external contract manufacturers and vendors, lead FAT/SAT, and provide clear executive-level updates; occasional on-floor presence is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical program or project management experience overseeing custom capital-equipment development.
• Ability to engage with mechanical, electrical, software, and process engineers on high-precision automated systems.
• Experience managing Tier-1 equipment vendors and long-lead supply-chain components.
• Strong ability to synthesize updates into actionable insights for leadership.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance status synthesis and risk identification.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development lifecycle for a portfolio of automated manufacturing tools.
• Translate complex tech concepts into clear project scopes and roadmaps.
• Manage tool builds with external vendors and conduct FAT/SAT testing.
• Facilitate alignment between R&D, Equipment Engineering, Quality, and Global Supply Chain.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks and develop mitigation plans.
• Maintain dashboards and executive reporting on portfolio health and budgets.
• Spend time on the manufacturing floor and in cleanroom environments; wear PPE as required.
