Job summary

Gateway Recruiting seeks a Senior Manager, Equipment Maintenance to oversee daily maintenance of equipment, hardware, and tooling used in IC manufacture and testing. You will direct multiple shifts and buildings, review future department needs, and develop plans to meet business demands.

You will establish procedures to meet ISO standards, set KPI targets, manage budgets and CAPEX, and drive TPM and lean programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing or related environment.
• Minimum of 5 years management experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques and scheduling.
• Knowledge of manufacturing dynamics and constraint management.
• Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools; repair and maintenance.
• Ability to analyze information and use data to drive decisions.
• Ability to work in a multi-priority environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain department procedures to meet ISO/internal standards.
• Set short- and long-term objectives and KPI’s for Equipment Maintenance.
• Manage and report on department objectives and KPI’s.
• Develop plans to address non-conformances and improve performance.
• Oversee budget preparation, CAPEX, documentation, and expenditures.
• Ensure production equipment is maintained to minimize downtime.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs and TPM implementation.
• Manage external vendors for repair of equipment and tooling.
• Monitor inventory of equipment, tooling, and spare parts.
• Lead lean initiatives (Kaizen, 6S) and continuous improvement.
• Ensure on-time installation of equipment per project timelines.
• Provide feedback and growth opportunities to staff; assess competency.
