Job summary

Motional is seeking a Technical Program Manager to support AV Autonomy efforts. The role requires coordinating across autonomy integration, software, hardware, operations, and testing teams.

You will drive performance evaluation planning, track progress, and resolve blockers to continuously improve system configurations. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in complex systems (AV/ADAS/robotics), strong cross-team collaboration, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with Continuous Integration and automated software testing.
• Demonstrated experience in managing FW, SW, and HW configurations.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working with complex systems (AV, ADAS, robotics).
• Experience working across teams resolving competing priorities and dependencies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Track planned software performance evaluation activities; ensure resources and infrastructure are available, and plans are coordinated and approved.
• Manage execution of AV Autonomy activities; track progress against metrics and remove blockers.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve overall and targeted software configurations with system teams.
• Communicate complex technical details to engineers and executives; conduct performance reviews and retrospectives.
• Set priorities and coordinate between multiple engineering, operations teams and external stakeholders.
• Work with engineering leadership to define and track key organizational objectives.
• Identify, manage, and report risks and issues proactively.
