Job summary

Parallel Systems, Inc. is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead execution across vehicle hardware, autonomy systems, and enterprise software. This first TPM hire will align engineering efforts as we scale autonomous rail vehicles.

You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage the integrated master schedule, surface risks, and drive on-time delivery across hardware, firmware, and software. Strong communication and organizational rigor are essential in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical program management or engineering program roles.
• Strong technical background with hardware and software teams.
• Proven track record delivering complex cross-functional programs on time and budget.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and program tracking tools.
• Ability to manage ambiguity in a high-growth startup environment.
• Preferred in transportation, robotics, or hardware/software integrated systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the integrated master schedule (IMS) for hardware, software, and product deliveries.
• Coordinate timelines, priorities, and deliverables across hardware, firmware, and software teams.
• Track milestones, manage risks, and drive resolution on blockers.
• Ensure alignment on requirements between engineering, product, and customer teams.
• Facilitate regular syncs, status reporting, and planning sessions.
• Create and maintain documentation to support visibility and execution.
• Support development and integration of new vehicle generations, enterprise software upgrades, and firmware iterations.
