Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Program Management to lead AI Foundations initiatives across Search Relevance, MLI, and SKI. You will partner with engineering and product teams to drive data-driven decisions and scalable AI-powered experiences.

This role centers on leading TPMs, aligning across functions, and delivering strategic programs with impact. The role requires 13+ years in TPM, deep AI/ML background, and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 13+ years in technical program management, with at least 8 years leading TPM teams.
• Experience in search relevance, natural language search, and recommendations.
• Ability to frame vague problems and drive initiatives to completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Shape and influence technical direction while ensuring stakeholder needs are met.
• Prototype and validate ideas through iterative development cycles.
• Define measurable success criteria and manage risks to maintain momentum.
• Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders and leadership.
• Present outcomes and trade-offs clearly to senior leadership.
