Job summary

Airbnb, a global travel community company, is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Program Management to lead AI Platforms initiatives across Search Relevance, MLI, and SKI. You will partner with engineering and product teams to drive data-driven decisions and scale AI-powered experiences.

Qualifications

• 13+ years in technical program management with 8+ years leading TPM teams.
• Experience in search relevance, NLP, and recommendation systems.
• Applied GenAI/LLM technologies to search is a plus.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive end-to-end initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence.
• Experience with ML models, LRMs, and model testing.
• Familiar with A/B testing and incremental delivery.

Responsibilities

• Shape and influence the technical direction of projects, ensuring stakeholder needs and high-quality standards.
• Balance broad thinking with attention to critical details and prioritization.
• Define clear success criteria and align stakeholders; assess risks and mitigation.
