Job summary

Elroy Air in Byron, CA is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to own end-to-end integration of hardware and software across propulsion, powertrain, avionics, flight controls, and ground support systems.

You will drive schedules, mitigate risks, and coordinate cross-functional teams through flight test to production ramp in a hybrid work setting with on-site presence in Byron several days per week.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical program management experience delivering complex hardware, software, or integrated electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering programs through full lifecycle execution—from concept to flight test to production.
• Strong technical literacy across hardware, software lifecycles, systems engineering, and flight test ops.

Responsibilities

• Lead prototype build execution and integration for the primary test platform.
• Establish and track integrated master schedules across hardware, software, and systems streams.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; drive risk burn-down and architectural alignment.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Flight Controls, Software, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
• Lead program reviews, planning, and executive reporting with clear status and risk metrics.
• Define scalable TPM processes and governance while ensuring aerospace standards.
