Responsibilities include prototyping, user testing, presenting concepts to licensors, and ensuring designs meet rigid safety guidelines while driving timelines and production readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience in toys.
• 1+ years collaborating with global manufacturing vendors.
• Understanding of early childhood play patterns and licensed brands.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design lifecycle; generate concepts, research, prototypes, user testing.
• Create play systems focused on compatibility and high-quality designs within target costs.
• Collaborate with brand, product management, engineering, packaging, and licensors to fit brand and safety guidelines.
• Pitch and present concepts to brand, development, and licensor teams; build consensus.
• Deliver turnover specs; review turns, sculpts, paint masters; submit licensor changes.
• Work with global manufacturing and vendors to resolve issues and transition to mass production.
