Job summary

Tangent International is seeking an experienced TowerCo Stream Lead to drive a major telecom infrastructure program in Angola. You will oversee tower assets, energy solutions, data centre requirements, landlord management, and operational readiness while steering TowerCo initiatives from planning through execution.

The role requires 12+ years in TowerCo or passive infrastructure leadership, strong Africa project experience, and solid stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in TowerCo, telecom infrastructure or passive network leadership.
• Experience managing build-to-suit, colocation, energy, or telecom programs.
• Strong tower operations, asset management expertise.
• Led large telecom infrastructure projects in Africa.
• Proven tower transactions, infrastructure sharing, or BTS deployment work.
• Experience handling budgets, program delivery and P&L.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and decision-making abilities.
• English written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness and availability to mobilize immediately.

Responsibilities

• Lead the TowerCo workstream end-to-end across towers, energy, landlord mgmt and data centre activities.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for deployment and operational readiness.
• Manage rooftop and greenfield tower projects from planning to handover.
• Oversee colocation opportunities and infrastructure-sharing initiatives.
• Coordinate RFP development, evaluation, vendor selection and contracts.
• Engage with landlords, infrastructure partners, vendors and regulators.
• Drive operational setup to establish and optimize tower estates.
• Ensure alignment of technical, commercial and operational objectives.
• Manage risks, budgets, timelines and delivery milestones.
• Support network expansion and infrastructure growth in Angola.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced projects.
• Monitor performance and report to stakeholders and executives.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and operational standards.
