Job summary

Betacom is seeking a Tower Technician to lead and assist in constructing, installing, and maintaining communications towers and related equipment. You will work irregular hours, travel frequently, and operate at great heights in challenging weather conditions.

Responsibilities include climbing towers, installing antenna systems, ensuring safety compliance, and developing detailed work procedures. Strong communication and ability to lead a crew are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 4 years of industry experience.
• Excellent communication skills, reading and writing skills (English).
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Climbs and works on communication towers to install, replace, and repair antenna system equipment.
• Uses and maintains hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Ensures crew safety and compliance with company and customer safety requirements.
• Develops and writes detailed Method of Procedure (MOP) for a job/project.
• Leads a 4-tower crew safely within budgetary requirements.
• Troubleshoots GPS antennas and tower lighting systems.
