Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking an experienced Sr. Compensation Analyst II to join our Total Rewards team.

You will design, implement and optimize competitive compensation programs that drive business strategy and attract, engage, and retain top talent across a diverse organization. In this role, you will partner with leadership and HR stakeholders to advise on compensation practices, manage the annual review cycle, maintain equitable pay structures, and lead market benchmarking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of compensation planning/analytics experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets with pivot tables and data modeling.
• Strong communication skills to present data clearly and persuasively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Total Rewards VP and stakeholders to optimize compensation programs and identify optimization opportunities.
• Support compensation practices for executive and broad-based groups for a diverse population.
• Design, budget, and administer the annual review process.
• Ensure pay programs are aligned with business strategy, compliant, and equitable.
• Maintain pay ranges and perform benchmarking.
• Conduct job evaluations and market pay equity analyses.
• Participate in annual benchmarking surveys for the company.
• Educate managers and recruiters on best pay practices to attract and retain talent.
• Partner with leaders to deliver broad-based cash and total rewards programs, modeling various scenarios.
• Cross-functionally collaborate with People Partners, Finance, Payroll, and managers.
