Job summary

Materion is seeking a Senior Compensation & Benefits Analyst to design, implement, and administer our compensation and benefits programs. The role collaborates with HR and business leaders to deliver data-driven analysis that informs total rewards decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency with Workday, and a track record in job evaluations, offer management, and benefits administration to ensure market competitiveness and policy alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years in compensation and benefits analysis.
• Expertise in compensation analysis, job evaluation, offer management, and benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of labor and benefits laws and regulations (FLSA, ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA).

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze job offers for policy alignment and market competitiveness.
• Perform job evaluations and maintain up-to-date job descriptions.
• Lead annual compensation review and benefits enrollment in Workday.
• Administer health, retirement, disability, life, wellness, and voluntary benefits.
• Collaborate with carriers, brokers, and stakeholders to deliver plans.
• Develop advanced Excel models to analyze compensation data.
• Utilize Workday compensation and benefits modules for reporting.
• Support total rewards initiatives including equity and deferred compensation.
