Job summary

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Inc. is seeking a senior engineering leader to oversee Total Reconstruction & Expansion projects across multiple regional offices.

The role requires deep technical expertise, strong project management, and leadership of internal teams and consultants. Responsibilities include guiding design, construction, and coordination across disciplines, while ensuring schedule, budget, and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Nine years engineering experience or five years with bachelor’s in engineering
• One year as Engineer Project Manager 2 or equivalent
• EIT certificate may substitute two years experience
• Valid driver’s license and PA residency within six months

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise project teams and consultants.
• Manage lifecycle of Total Reconstruction & Expansion projects.
• Develop scopes, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities across departments and outside agencies.
• Lead meetings and provide direction to stakeholders.
• Ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence.
