Job summary

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is seeking a Total Reconstruction Project Manager to lead complex highway reconstruction and expansion projects. You will oversee multi-disciplinary design and construction activities, manage internal and consultant teams, and ensure successful delivery within schedule and budget.

The role requires senior engineering experience, leadership, and strong communication. Flexible work options may apply, with multiple office locations in PA and a salaried status.

Qualifications

• Nine (9) years of engineering experience OR five (5) years with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• One (1) year as an Engineer Project Manager 2 with the PTC, or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and PA residency requirements within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers and supervise consultants on Total Reconstruction & Expansion projects.
• Manage full lifecycle from development to final design and construction support.
• Develop scopes of work, plans, specs, estimates, and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities across roadway, structures, drainage, geotech, and enviro.
• Attend and lead project meetings; provide subject matter expertise and direction.
• Ensure schedule, budget, and quality standards are met throughout projects.
