Job summary

Hadrian Automation is seeking a Tooling Technician in Torrance, CA to own tooling fabrication and modification for new product introductions. You will work autonomously, partnering with engineering to modify existing tools and design and fabricate new ones, across growing manufacturing programs.

The role involves operating welding, water jet, laser tracking, mills, lathes, and general assembly equipment, while helping scale tooling processes as the team expands threefold in the coming months.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of tooling fabrication experience.
• Hands-on welding, water jet, laser tracking and manual machine shop work.
• Ability to work autonomously on program-critical timelines.
• Collaborate with engineering on new tool development.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and modify tooling in support of new product introduction across manufacturing programs.
• Partner with engineering to design new tools from the ground up.
• Operate welding, water jet, laser tracking and manual machine shop equipment as needed.
• Maintain and iterate tooling as designs evolve.
• Help scale tooling processes as the team grows 3x in six months.
