Northrop Grumman in Palmdale, CA, seeks a Tool Engineering Manager 3 to lead multi-discipline teams in tooling, design, fabrication, metrology and maintenance for the Strike program. You will drive cost, schedule, and quality targets while ensuring EVMS-compliant budgets and strong partnerships with IPT and production leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of professional experience in tooling, manufacturing/operations, assembly lines, and/or implementing technology into a production environment
• Master’s degree and 5 years of professional experience in tooling, manufacturing/operations, assembly lines, and/or implementing technology into a production environment
• PhD and 2 years of professional experience in tooling, manufacturing/operations, assembly lines, and/or implementing technology into a production environment

Responsabilidades

• Lead and provide oversight to management team to meet quality, cost, schedule and customer satisfaction targets.
• Manage large-scale tooling engineering projects from concept through implementation in production lines.
• Develop long-range plans and staffing/skills requirements for affordable tooling products and services.
• Act as Cost Account Manager (CAM) for program tooling activities and ensure EVMS compliance.
