Job summary

Radiant, a California-based startup in El Segundo, seeks a Senior Tooling Engineer to develop production equipment for fabricating and assembling the microreactor system. You will work closely with design and manufacturing teams on tooling for the factory that mass-produces Kaleidos.

The role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical/related engineering, 4+ years in mechanical equipment design, and strong GD&T experience; Master’s preferred. Onsite in El Segundo with comprehensive benefits and equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in mechanical, manufacturing, or other related engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in mechanical equipment design and fabrication of multi-component assemblies in CAD (NX or similar).
• Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) with experience applying it to fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Partner with design and manufacturing engineers to develop innovative production equipment for fabricating and assembling complex mechanisms and structures.
• Design, analyze, and fabricate equipment that enables semi-remote operations for fueling/defueling of the reactor.
• Identify and develop appropriate suppliers for components and fabrication.
