Job summary

ASML in the United States is seeking a Senior Production Engineering Tooling Designer to strengthen tooling reliability and support safe, efficient, and scalable manufacturing.

You will combine hands-on technical expertise with project leadership, defining requirements, leading design reviews, and delivering documented tooling solutions for production and lifecycle support. Collaboration across engineering teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field (mechanical/electrical/mechatronics/manufacturing).
• Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing tooling design, production engineering, process development, or manufacturing.
• Minimum three years of project leadership or improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, or AutoCAD).
• Experience with GD&T, manufacturing processes, and finite element analysis.
• Experience with ERP/PLM and engineering change processes.

Responsibilities

• Define functional requirements and technical specifications with engineering teams and internal customers.
• Develop business cases, design proposals, risk assessments, and safety reviews.
• Design complex tooling, fixtures, and jigs meeting safety and regulatory requirements.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
• Lead design reviews and apply analysis across tolerance, motion, materials, thermal, and performance aspects.
• Release qualified designs with documentation for procurement, production, and lifecycle support.
• Resolve tooling issues, implement corrective actions, and support investments.
