Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Tooling and Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain integrations across a modern managed services tech stack in a fully remote US role. You will own Jira Service Management configurations, optimize alerting, and drive standardization of tooling and deployments.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in MSP or enterprise IT environment focusing on tooling, automation, and integrations.
• Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs, webhooks, JSON/XML, and authentication methods.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support integrations connecting RMM, network monitoring, backup reporting, and ITSM platforms.
• Own Jira Service Management configuration including workflows, queues, and automations.
• Optimize alerting and monitoring to reduce noise and improve actionable notifications.
• Troubleshoot complex tooling failures and provide senior-level escalation.
• Lead tooling evaluations, vendor selection, proof-of-concept testing, and end-to-end implementations.
• Ensure customer deployments are fully configured and maintained with governance and ITIL-aligned changes.
