Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a staff-level software leader to steer technical direction for AI-powered product initiatives in a fully remote U.S. environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience at staff or lead level with track record of delivering complex initiatives.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents in daily production development (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc.).
• Ability to direct AI agents with prompts, context mgmt, evaluation, testing, and code-review workflows.
• Deep technical expertise in at least one production-ready stack.
• Experience with PHP/Laravel; TS/React; Redshift/dbt/Segment/Airflow or AWS observability/tools.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, data modeling, integrations, testing, deployment, security and observability.
• Proven ability to work independently, make timely technical decisions, and balance autonomy with collaboration.
• Product-oriented mindset translating business goals into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Direct the technical direction of product initiatives including architecture, data modeling, integrations and deployment strategies.
• Own the full product lifecycle from planning through production release and post-launch review.
• Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate development with well-defined prompts and guardrails.
• Maintain high engineering standards for security, performance, reliability, and UX.
• Document architectural choices and involve reviewers for major decisions.
• Collaborate with PMs and designers to scope, prioritize, and deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Partner with engineers to ensure alignment across interconnected initiatives.
• Track metrics like conversion, retention, and unit economics; conduct post-launch reviews.
