Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an experienced toolmaker for an onsite role in California. You will build and repair machine shop tools, read blueprints, and create fixtures, dies, jigs, and molds using conventional milling and turning operations with precision measurement.

Qualifications

• Five or more years experience in conventional milling and turning
• Experience with fixtures and gauging for first article inspection
• Strong blueprint reading and mathematical aptitude
• Ability to maintain tight tolerances and precision parts

Responsibilities

• Fabrication of fixtures per blueprints and specifications
• Set up and operate machines with minimal supervision
• Prepare parts to achieve first article acceptance
• Run tests on tools/dies and adjust to meet specs
• Suggest process improvements to reduce variation
• Enter data into visual management forms and report results
• Continually improve processes and reduce waste
• Collaborate with team and communicate with management
