Job summary

Regal Rexnord seeks a Machinist I to produce precision components using CNC and manual equipment. You will set up machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet strict tolerances, collaborating with engineering and quality teams.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience (5+ years) and proficiency in machining processes, tools, and measurement. Onsite work with strong safety adherence is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years in machining.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specs and interpret drawings.
• Strong math skills for geometry and tolerances.
• Maintain tight tolerances and high precision in complex work.
• Experience with CNC programming preferred; strong problem solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines for precision work.
• Set up machines, fixtures, and tooling for accurate part production.
• Interpret blueprints and specs to determine machining methods.
• Select tooling, feeds, and speeds for operations.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure tolerances.
• Maintain tight dimensional accuracy across operations.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and identify defective materials.
• Collaborate with Quality and ME to ensure product quality.
• Design or modify fixtures and tooling for production needs.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness; follow safety procedures.
