Qualifications

• Formal apprenticeship in Tool and Die Making.
• Experience interpreting drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, heat treatment, and materials properties.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new tools, dies, fixtures, and gauges.
• Repair and maintain existing tooling for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot stamping dies and production tooling issues.
• Perform precision grinding, milling, turning, and EDM operations.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to produce components with tight tolerances.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tool design and processes.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
