Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent on-the-job training.
• 5+ years of Tool Maker experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and materials.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and perform quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and modify dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Set up and operate lathes, milling, grinders, and EDM machines.
• Interpret blueprints and 3D models to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and machinery.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve tooling designs.
