Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr. Implementation Project Manager to lead tolling and contact center project implementations for the NYS Thruway team.

The role requires managing initiatives from contract signing through post go-live support, with travel to New York and relocation assistance offered. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of PM experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with government contracts in tolling or call centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 7–10 years of experience in project management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Experience leading government contract implementations in tolling and call centers.
• PMI PMP and Agile certifications preferred.
• Experience using Smartsheet and Jira preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning activities and develop schedules and WBS.
• Monitor progress, address issues, and escalate decisions.
• Develop and track risk management plans.
• Provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Implement process improvements for customers.
• Lead continuous improvement teams.
• Direct PM staff and manage workload.
• Travel to New York as needed; relocation assistance provided.
