Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Senior Toll Specialist for a remote role, bringing extensive DOT and toll agency experience to analyze, design, and implement tolling systems across roadside and back-office components.

The position emphasizes strong communication, data-driven analysis, and supporting tolling projects, procurement documentation, and KPI reporting for vendor contracts. This is a remote opportunity with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years technical and/or operational experience with DOTs and toll agencies.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Demonstrated experience in toll infrastructure, roadside, back-office systems, and customer service center operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, operational and data analytics support on projects.
• Prepare and/or perform technical review of toll system requirements and designs, planning studies, engineering analyses, test plans, and Concepts of Operations
• Assist in the design and development of tolling concepts and reports including requirement analysis, technology review and selection, toll equipment specifications, and back-office communications and operating systems
• Support the tolling group with the development and review of system integration plans, testing procedures and commissioning documentation for toll systems
• Support the implementation of tolling systems and IT systems
• Assist in the development of procurement documentation for tolling clients with respect to technical, functional, and operational specifications including performing research on industry best practices and leading edge approaches to enhance client outcomes.
• Help to develop and implement KPI reporting tools for toll vendor contracts on various tolling projects
