Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Senior Toll Specialist to oversee planning, analysis, design, and operations of tolling systems, including roadside and back-office applications. This remote position offers opportunities for impact and growth within a leading engineering firm.

This role supports tolling program delivery, KPI reporting, and coordination with DOTs and toll agencies, with a focus on scalable solutions and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of technical/operational tolling experience with DOTs and toll agencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated toll infrastructure and back-office systems experience.
• Commitment to active participation in company growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, operational and data analytics support on projects.
• Review toll system requirements, designs, planning studies, test plans and concepts of operations.
• Assist in design and development of tolling concepts and reports including requirement analysis and technology review.
• Support development of system integration plans, testing procedures and commissioning documentation for toll systems.
• Assist in tolling system and IT system implementations.
• Prepare procurement documentation for tolling clients with respect to technical, functional, and operational specs.
• Develop KPI reporting tools for toll vendor contracts across projects.
