Job summary

Zillow Group is seeking an experienced Title Officer to join our Title Solutions team. You will manage title-only files through examination and curative, resolving complex title matters and delivering a world-class closing experience.

You will work with search vendors, attorneys, underwriters, and consumers to keep closings on track, applying technical judgment, urgency, and meticulous attention to detail across a fast-moving pipeline.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of title examination and curative experience.
• Strong knowledge of ALTA forms, endorsements, and clearance practices.
• Bachelor’s degree required; ability to work nationally.

Responsibilities

• Review county records and related documents to identify requirements for title commitments.
• Coordinate with consumers, attorneys, underwriters, and vendors to cure title issues efficiently.
• Update title commitments as new information becomes available during clearance.
• Draft deeds, affidavits, and escrow/closing documents as needed.
• Communicate with transaction parties by phone and email; manage multiple files and deadlines.
• Meet turnaround times and quality metrics; support fast-moving closing queues.
• Review GIS overlays and related materials to identify survey needs.
