Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking an experienced Legal & Title Analyst to support utility-scale renewable energy projects from title review to curative actions. You will coordinate with Development, Land, Legal, and Finance teams, title companies, lenders, and external stakeholders to ensure title policies and surveys meet investor requirements.

You will review title commitments, proformas, and land documents, prepare status reports, and manage multiple deliverables with strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience reviewing title commitments, policies, and related land documents.
• Experience coordinating with title companies, surveyors, lenders, and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Review title commitments, proformas, site control instruments, and related land documentation for energy projects.
• Populate and maintain title review tracking, including vesting, title exceptions, and curative recommendations.
• Prepare Title Status Reports summarizing findings, risks, and financing considerations.
• Coordinate with title companies and provide redline comments to advance policies acceptable to ENGIE and financiers.
• Review ALTA/NSPS surveys to verify compliance with investor and title insurance requirements.
• Evaluate easements, corridors, crossings, site access, encroachments, and constructability impacts.
• Coordinate title curative actions with landowners, utilities, lenders, and stakeholders.
• Attend meetings and provide bi-weekly written status updates.
