Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. seeks a Sr. Title Agent in Georgia to support ROW activities, title research, and property access across energy and infrastructure projects.

You will assist ROW supervision, secure property access, negotiate ROW options and easements, and maintain detailed records while complying with safety plans and company policies.

Strong knowledge of land description, rights, and metes-and-bounds plotting, with independent work ability and attention to detail preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a title agent or a related title position.
• Must be able to research land ownership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including spreadsheet and word processing.
• Specialized knowledge in land description and terminology, and rights.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Advanced skills to plot metes and bounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist ROW Supervisor in providing guidance to ROW Agents.
• Secure permission to enter properties from landowners and tenants.
• Negotiate ROW options, easements, fee interest, and curative documents.
• Develop construction line from conditions placed on ROW.
• Maintain a detailed diary of property owner contacts and weekly reports.
• Maintain a detailed log of all payments.
• Negotiate Damage Settlements as required.
• Support construction activities as required.
• Document all ROW activities as required.
• Adhere to project Safety Plan.

Education

Associate's degree preferred or relevant experience
