Job summary

TRC, Member of WSP, is seeking a Land/ROW Representative in Georgia. The Senior role requires knowledge of title, permitting, acquisition, and documentation, with the ability to work independently and manage property valuations and alignments sheets.

Responsibilities include contacting owners, negotiating easements, maintaining logs, and supporting construction activities; extensive experience with land databases, digital filing, and Excel is valued.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a ROW agent or related ROW position.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Knowledge in land description, surface and subsurface rights, ROW documents, and negotiations.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Strong initiative, planning, and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with valuation calculations using Excel.
• Willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Research owner contact info and initiate contact with property owners.
• Communicate property appraisals to landowners.
• Secure permission to enter properties.
• Maintain positive relationships with landowners.
• Negotiate ROW options, easements, and related documents.
• Develop construction line from ROW restrictions.
• Maintain weekly activity diary and payments log.
• Estimate and negotiate damage settlements.
• Represent client at community project meetings.
• Support construction activities.
• Collaborate with landowner attorney for negotiations.
• Travel to field locations as required.
• Work outdoors and indoors across varying climates.
• Document ROW activities.
