Job summary

Jobot in Irvine, CA seeks a Permanent Superintendent to oversee commercial tenant improvements (TI) in the OC. You will manage planning, scheduling, cost controls, subcontractors, and quality across diverse TI projects including HQs, Life Sciences, Education, Retail and Healthcare.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction, strong leadership, and a proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial TI/construction.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects.
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
• Interface with inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers and clients.
• Negotiate with contractors to control costs.
• Maintain quality per plans and specs.
• Prepare internal and external reports on job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve issues.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Review daily progress and ensure standards and techniques.
