Qualifications

• 5+ years as Superintendent in commercial TI with on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Proven experience in construction management and completing projects on time and budget.
• Advanced knowledge of CM processes, means and methods.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and regulations.
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Familiarity with construction management software packages.
• Ability to plan and see the “big picture.”
• Leadership and HR management skills.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• BS degree in CM, architecture, engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects.
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
• Interface with inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers and clients.
• Negotiate with contractors to control costs.
• Maintain high workmanship standards per plans and specs.
• Prepare internal and external project reports.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve issues.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Review work progress daily.
• Ensure quality construction standards and proper techniques.
