Job summary

United Future is seeking a Superintendent (Commercial TI - Buildout) in Nashville to lead TI construction projects, especially restaurant/retail/office/hospitality builds. You will plan schedules with the PM, supervise subcontractors, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery from design through completion.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and proactive problem-solving, with experience in Sage 100 Construction Software preferred and a competitive compensation package

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a commercial construction onsite-management role.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and jobsites simultaneously with various stakeholders.
• Proactive management of schedules and budgets while coordinating inspectors, subs, architects, and clients.
• Negotiate with subcontractors to achieve reasonable budgetary costs.
• Experience interfacing with city officials and design teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and manage project schedules in partnership with the PM.
• Maintain budgets and monitor site activity and progress.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and subcontractor agreements.
• Supervise craft employees, assign tasks and evaluate productivity.
• Ensure work follows the approved sequence and quality standards.
• Review shop drawings, procurement, deliveries, and site safety and access.
