Job summary

Accounting Search in Nashville, TN seeks a Superintendent (Commercial TI - Buildout Construction) to plan, develop and manage schedules with the project manager, maintain budgets, and coordinate subcontractors and vendors for TI projects in restaurant, retail, office and hospitality sectors.

The role requires strong communication, documentation, and on-site leadership with 5+ years in commercial construction. Proficiency with Sage software is desirable; MS Office essential.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in a commercial construction onsite-management role.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and jobsites simultaneously.
• Proactive management of project schedules and budgets.
• Experience in negotiating subcontractor costs.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Great over-communication with client, subs & staff.
• Manages day-to-day subcontractor operations.
• Supervises craft employees including assigning job responsibilities and evaluating productivity.
• Ensures the sequence of work is followed per the Reverse Phase Schedule.
• Reviews shop drawings, coordinates materials procurement, deliveries, and site safety.
• Prepare and maintain budgets and reports for project managers.
