Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Senior Information Security Threat Hunter to join our global security team. You will analyze data sources and threat trends, lead advanced hunting efforts, and support incident response with deep knowledge of threat actor profiles.

Work with the Threat Management Center to operationalize new techniques and ensure data sources enrich hunting capabilities. The role requires strong project management and professional security certifications, with a focus on protecting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, networking, or CS, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 4+ years in information technology with security focus.
• Experience managing security projects.
• Certifications: CCTH or CEH, CISSP, GCIH, GCIA.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze available data sources, security tools, and threat trends to identify attacks against the enterprise.
• Lead security monitoring and analysis techniques to hunt advanced threat actors.
• Collaborate with Threat Management Center to operationalize detection techniques and data sources.
• Provide SME support for cyber incident response actions and threat actor profiling.
• Devise detection techniques by understanding threat actor profiles and prioritizing assets to protect.
