Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Senior Third-Party Operations Manager to oversee complex third-party risk initiatives and centralized operations in partnership with business lines and external partners.

You will lead cross-functional projects, drive process improvements, support audits and examinations, and provide day-to-day guidance to Operations staff while maintaining robust controls and compliance within the Third-Party Risk & Controls program.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Third-Party / Vendor Risk Management or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of general banking operations and regulatory obligations.
• Advanced communication skills in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex operational and cross-functional projects.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of Operations staff.
• Drive process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review critical documentation and support audits and exams.
• Develop presentations and materials for governance forums.
• Assist with training and knowledge transfer across the team.
• Oversee central mailbox operations and issue resolution.
• Escalate items for leadership decision as needed.
• Analyze third-party engagements for consistency in evaluation.
