Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Thermal Engineer in Pasadena, CA to lead thermal and structural analyses of electronic hardware for high-profile aerospace programs. The role requires active TS clearance, a strong background in electronics packaging, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Extensive experience performing thermal and structural analysis and testing of electronic hardware.
• Strong knowledge of thermal and structural design principles, analysis methodologies, and testing.
• Proficiency with tools such as ANSYS, COSMOS, TSS, TAS, SolidWorks or comparable software.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal and structural analyses of electronic hardware designs and systems/subsystems.
• Determine component temperatures across operating and environmental conditions.
• Assess random vibration and fatigue life of electronic hardware.
• Review thermal and structural analyses from subcontractors.
• Support environmental qualification and testing programs.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with multiple disciplines.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly.
• Support quality, verification, and documentation activities.
